“Follow The Ball”
That quote was first spoken to me by my former high school basketball coach — and it’s become the story of my life. From my earliest years, I’ve followed the ball — not just on the court, but as a guiding force in everything I do. Before I could even compete, I was studying the game — watching older players, analyzing their moves, and imagining the day I’d step onto the hardwood myself.
When that time came, I picked up the ball and never looked back. Basketball became my outlet, my drive, and ultimately, my purpose. When it was time to hang up my shoes, I knew my journey with the game wasn’t over. I transitioned immediately into coaching, training, and mentoring — committed to giving back to the game that had given me so much. My mission became clear: to help student-athletes realize their potential through basketball, just as I had. “Follow the Ball” is more than a quote — it’s a philosophy. It represents opportunity, discipline, and a pathway to something greater. That’s why I founded Rose Elite Academy in 2023 — to build a program that teaches young men how to use the game of basketball to unlock doors they never imagined possible. At Rose Elite, we don’t just chase dreams — we train for them, we believe in them, and we prepare young men to achieve them. The Academy is the embodiment of everything I’ve lived, learned, and loved about the game — and I’m committed to embedding that same spirit into generations of student-athletes to come.
